Dan would be the first person to tell anyone that Dan has really ever found himself in a relationship when he's been the pursued-- not out of ego, but because he tends not to notice these things. Perhaps it's natural inclination, or maybe it has to do with how carefully he keeps himself closed off from people. That he feels such warmth, such ease with Marcus just makes him happy, and at least right now, he's not questioning it.
